Our Married Homes

This is our first home that we lived in as soon as we got married. We lived in a basement apartment. The stairs are in front of the cars underneath the double windows.

First Apartment – Oliver Street

It was a very cosy first apartment. We paid $99/month to rent this apartment.

Second Apartment/Duplex – 1100 East

This is the duplex we moved to after I graduated from college.

It is located on 1100 East about 3500 South. It was in Ron and Carole’s ward. This is the ward into which my parents moved after we moved to Roy.

First Home in Roy – 2600 West

This is our Roy home as it was when we lived there. I was finished the basement. We only lived there for one year. I was working for Burroughs when we first moved there, but I couldn’t make a go of it as a salesman, so I quit and went to work for an Lincoln National Life. That was a terrible idea. We eventually moved to Murray and I tried to continue my life insurance career, later to go back to computers

April was born while we lived here. We had to go to Salt Lake to Holy Cross Hospital for her birth. We spent two days while she was in labor at Mom and Dad Clegg’s home. Mom Clegg and I put a jigsaw puzzle together while she was in labor.

This is how the Roy home looks now (2024).

This is another view of the current Roy home. I don’t have any idea who lives there now.

Murray Home – Potomac Drive

This was our Potomac Drive home. I don’t know what we’re doing here, but it one of the few photos of this home. We lived here for about 15 years. Melissa, Liz and Emily were born while we lived here.

Murray Home – Mohican Circle

We finished up our time in Murray on Mohican Circle. We lived here until 2019.

West Jordan Home – Le Rosier Court

This is our current home in West Jordan on Le Rosier Court in a gated community. After Iost the election to the legislature, we decided to move away from Murray. We needed a home that had more space for our family gathering. In addition, I wanted to get away from the freeway noice at our Murray home.

This is the rear (East facing) side of the home.
